Sunday Morning Church School
Church School is available to people of all ages at North Bethesda United Methodist, meeting each Sunday morning from 11:30 to 12:30.
Church School Classes:
- Book study on The Good and Beautiful God by James Bryan Smith, concerning lessons about God from the teachings of Jesus, highlighting what Jesus said about what God is like.
- Current Events Class with class material emailed to the class on Thursday highlighting an event from the recent news with a brief explanation of the news and relevant Bible references.
- Bible study class on the sermon lessons, focusing on the gospel of Mark.

The Collection
The adult collection features the Bible (including various translations and interpretations); Bible commentaries and study aids; church history; Christian life and development; devotionals; church administration; missions; Methodist beliefs and history; other denominations and religions; psychology and social sciences; biography. A small fiction collection reflects spiritual subjects and themes. The Library Committee is open to suggestions for additions, which will be considered in line with the collection policy.

Fine Arts Committee
The Fine Arts Committee supports dramatic and musical productions for the church. Recent presentations have included “Quilters,” “Dr. Seuss: Green Eggs & Ham and the Sneetches,” “Noah and the Arkettes,” “Amahl and the Night Visitors,” “The Messiah,” “Man and and God in a Bar,” “Crossing the Line,” “Butterfingers Angel” and an annual Maundy Thursday drama. The Fine Arts Committee also sponsors our Easter Sunrise Service.
