Special Need Accomodation
North Bethesda United Methodist Church recognizes that some who wish to worship with us have special needs, and NBUMC attempts to meet those needs so as to be as inclusive as possible. For those with special needs, the following provisions are available:
- Quality nursery care provided during worship service and Sunday School for ages infant through three years. The nursery is located on the lower level with the Sunday School.
- Handicapped accessiblity with wheelchair seating, wheelchair accessible ramps from our parking lot to the main level and accessible restrooms.
- Large print hymnals and bulletins available upon request.
- Tapes of Sunday services available to shut-ins upon request. If needed, a cassette player can be provided.
- Assisted listening devices available upon request in the Sanctuary - in addition, a new sound system with enhanced sound was recently installed in the Sanctuary.
- Interpreter for hearing-impaired individuals available during worship service upon request.
